Here in the armpit of Sandy Hook, NJ
The day started out mild, with a temperature of 57° F. around 10 or 11 AM. A massive cold front swept across the whole region, causing rain and dropping the temperatures. The rain started to include a few snowflakes before it stopped in the early afternoon, and the temperature was already down around freezing. The wind also got stronger (gusts up to 30 mph). Now, at 8 PM, the temperature is 28° F, with wind gusts up to 10 mph, producing a wind chill of 19° F. When I got done with my errands for the day, I walked into the house and discovered that the indoor temperature was only 69° F, which I wouldn't mind if it were hot outdoors. But it's a tadge chilly, so I had to turn up the thermostats, and now it's up to 73° F.
But this house is somewhat drafty, and I'm sort of freezing my arse off.
