Cool but above freezing, leaves are colorful and about half fallen. Great weather for spiders, apparently. I counted the Charlottes I could find. Three on the side of the house, one on the outside of the garage near my car.

Clear skies, surprisingly un-rainy for the first week of November.

Hello and welcome to [community profile] localweather!

This is a place to share images, videos, and descriptions of the weather where you are. Tell us how it might be affecting your plans for the day, different from the norm where you are, or particularly suited (or not suited) to your tastes. It's wonderful to see how similar and different our experiences are from city to countryside and around the world.

General guidelines:

- The vibe of the community is chill small talk about the weather. Please keep posts and comments in line with that.
- Please put your location in the subject line of your post, including country (e.g. Brooklyn, NY, USA).
- Please share the weather where you are from anytime in the past 24 hours.
- Please tag your post with any relevant tags (at least one each for location and season), and request appropriate tags if they don't exist.
- All content should be safe for work and suitable for teens and up. (Swearing is fine.)
- Only directly post content you created or have the rights to share. If you want to share someone else's image or description of your local weather, give credit and a link to the source.
- Commenting is strongly encouraged!

Posting guidelines for images and videos:

- All types of images are welcome, including photos, videos, artwork, and animations.
- One still image can appear outside of a cut tag. Additional still images, all animated images, and all videos should be behind a cut. Please use descriptive cut text (e.g., "Four more photos from this afternoon's thunderstorm").
- Images/videos should display at no more than 600 px wide.
- Please provide descriptive alt tags for embedded images and descriptive captions for all other images and videos.

Posting guidelines for text:

- Text in all languages is welcome.
- Text should focus on your personal experience of the weather.
- It's fine to be political in context ("Great weather for today's protest march!"), but please don't use this community as a platform to advocate for any particular cause.
- It's fine to discuss how climate change is affecting your local weather, but please don't doom-and-gloom about climate apocalypse.

These guidelines are also in the community profile.

This community is inspired by the Pillowfort Weather community but not officially affiliated with it.

So our weather lately has been like this: very cold, somewhat cold, HOT, HOT, very nice middle temp, cold.

(Cold to us is, like, anything under 65*.)

I am freezing in the mornings, boiling in the afternoon, perfectly fine in the early evening, and freezing again after dusk. The nice part is that I get to use my heated blanket for the really cold bits! Flannel pajamas! Cozy socks!!

And the rest: I just dress in layers and it’s fine. Yay, fall!

Today we had our first real cold snap of autumn. Earlier in the week there were predictions of slushy snow, but instead we had bright blue skies and sharp breezes. I'm hoping for more nice weather this weekend. As the days get shorter, I want to be outside in the sun as much as possible.

My toddler was so excited about getting to wear their new winter coat with the faux fur hood, and we're shopping for adorable little-kid winter boots. Why don't adults get cool winter gear decorated with fox faces and shiny rainbow hearts?

Typical boring fall weather.  Until it changes, highs in the low 60's (or a bit more), lows around 29 or so.  Eventually we'll have some weather.  Right now we just have climate.  :)
